Interim President for College of Eastern Idaho. Appointed as interim by the newly selected CEI Board of Trustees in July 2017. Guided the new college through NWCCU accreditation status as a comprehensive community college with academic transfer degrees, the transfer of Federal Financial Aid to CEI and addition of new Associate of Arts to CEI. Estimated budget for 2018, $17 million.
President for Eastern Idaho Technical College. Appointed by Idaho State Board of Education to serve as EITC President after the previous President retired in June 2015. Responsible for the technical education mission of EITC and to provide guidance for a voter initiative to transform the technical college into Idaho’s fourth comprehensive community college. Budget of $12 million.
Interim Vice President for Student Services, Umpqua Community College, Roseburg, Oregon. Recruited by the UCC President to serve as interim VPSS for one year through June 2014. Responsibilities included leadership and strategy for: Counseling and Advising, Enrollment Services, Recruitment, Registration, Students with Disabilities, Financial Aid, TRiO Programs, Title III, Early Childhood Enrichment, Testing Services, Athletics, and Student Life. Budget responsibilities for Student Services of $2 million.
Vice President for Instruction and Student Services, College of Western Idaho, Boise. CWI was created in 2008. Managed four-fold responsibilities of: Instruction, Library Services, Online Campus, and Enrollment & Student Services. Responsible for development and delivery of teaching, learning and student success systems within the CWI service district in SW Idaho. CWI as a startup college began with no students, staff, faculty or revenue from instruction. NWCCU college “candidate” status recognized within three years of academic operations. Budget of $17 million serving 5,000 credit students.
Dean for Curriculum and Support Services, Portland Community College, August ‘05 – August ’08. Led district-level programming and processes in Curriculum Support, Articulation Agreements, Accreditation, Course Outcomes and Assessment, Program/Discipline Reviews, Distance Learning Delivery, Instructional Media Services, Service Learning, K-12 Partnerships, Office of Students with Disabilities, and served as a NWCCU Accreditation Evaluator.
